Booking App — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MewNam booking app (the “Booking App”), the LINE LIFF experience that allows you to book facilities at participating venues, and the supporting back-end services that record your bookings and payments (collectively, the “Service”). MewNam is a product of Space Salmon Co., Ltd. (a company registered in Thailand, Tax ID 0-1055-69100-32-5), referred to in these Terms as “MewNam”, “we”, “us”, or “our”. The Booking App is operated by MewNam on behalf of the venue operator that owns the tenant you are booking with (“Venue Operator”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Booking App. By opening the Booking App from a Venue Operator’s LINE Official Account, signing in with your LINE account, verifying your phone number, or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

The Booking App lets you:

  • Browse a Venue Operator’s branches, facilities, and available time slots.
  • Reserve a slot, hold it for a short window while you complete payment, and confirm the booking.
  • Pay using PromptPay or by uploading a transfer slip, where the Venue Operator has enabled those methods.
  • View your upcoming and past bookings, request cancellations subject to the Venue Operator’s policy, and receive booking notifications via LINE messages from the Venue Operator’s LINE Official Account.

MewNam operates the platform on which the Service runs. The booking contract for any reservation is between you and the Venue Operator, not MewNam.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least fifteen (15) years old to use the Booking App. If you are under twenty (20), you confirm that you have your parent’s or legal guardian’s consent to use the Service and to make bookings and payments. You may use the Booking App only for personal, non-commercial purposes — that is, to make legitimate bookings for yourself or for someone you are booking on behalf of with their consent.

3. LINE login and phone verification

The Booking App uses LINE Login through LINE LIFF, so signing in requires an active LINE account. When you sign in we receive your LINE user identifier, your LINE display name, and (where you have shared it on LINE) your LINE profile picture URL. We do not receive your LINE password.

To create or modify a booking we require you to verify a Thai mobile phone number with a one-time code (OTP). The OTP is sent by SMS. You must provide a phone number that you control. Sharing the OTP with another person, or attempting to verify a number you do not own, is a misuse of the Service.

LINE-channel content responsibility. The Venue Operator owns and operates its LINE Official Account, LINE Login channel, and LIFF app, and is responsible for the content of any LINE message it sends to you through those channels. MewNam transmits messages on the Venue Operator’s behalf but does not author or curate the content. Your use of LINE itself remains governed by LINE Corporation’s own terms of service and privacy policy.

4. Bookings, payments, and cancellations

  • Booking rules — opening hours, minimum booking duration, slot duration, reservation expiry, and price are configured by the Venue Operator and shown to you at the time of booking. The rules can change between venues and over time.
  • Reservation hold — when you select a slot, the system holds it for a limited period (typically a few minutes) so that you can complete payment. If you do not complete payment within that period, the slot will be released to other customers.
  • Payment — you can pay via PromptPay or by uploading a transfer slip, depending on what the Venue Operator has enabled. Payments settle directly into the Venue Operator’s bank account; MewNam does not hold funds on your behalf and is not a Payment Service Provider under Thai law. The Venue Operator’s bank conducts any KYC/AML checks required of the recipient account; MewNam does not perform KYC on you as the payer.
  • Slip verification. Depending on the Venue Operator’s plan and settings, your payment slip is either verified automatically or reviewed manually. Where automatic verification is enabled and your slip is successfully verified — the receiving account and amount match and the slip has not already been used — your booking is confirmed automatically, without a manual step. Otherwise, the Venue Operator (or its staff) reviews the slip and confirms the booking in the Admin Console. In the rare event a payment is later found to be invalid — for example, a forged or recalled slip — the Venue Operator may reverse the confirmation.
  • Confirmation — your booking is confirmed only after payment is recorded by the Service. You can review the status at any time on the “My Bookings” page.
  • Cancellations and refunds — cancellation windows, fees, and refund policies are set by the Venue Operator and shown at booking time. MewNam does not have authority to override those policies. Refund requests should be raised with the Venue Operator first; MewNam will assist where appropriate.
  • No-shows — Venue Operators may charge no-show fees or block your account in line with their published policy.
  • Bookings are services for a specific date. Bookings made through the Booking App are services to be performed at the booked time-slot on a specific date and accordingly fall outside the seven-day cooling-off right under Thai consumer-protection law. Refunds remain available where required by the Venue Operator’s published cancellation policy or by mandatory provisions of Thai consumer law.
  • Fraudulent or reversed payments. If a payment slip is later shown to be falsified, the underlying bank transfer is reversed, or the funds are not actually received by the Venue Operator, the Venue Operator (with MewNam’s assistance) may invalidate or cancel the related booking without refund and may suspend or block your account. We will give you a reasonable opportunity to provide evidence before taking irreversible action.
  • Facility-closure force majeure. If the Venue Operator closes the facility due to events outside its reasonable control — severe weather, flood, fire, government order, public-health closure, power or water outage at the venue, or similar — the Venue Operator will handle refunds or rescheduling under its published cancellation policy. MewNam is not a party to those refund decisions and is not liable for the operational impact of facility closures.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit fraudulent, duplicate, or misleading booking or payment information.
  • Use someone else’s LINE account, phone number, or payment instrument without their consent.
  • Upload payment slips that you have altered or that do not correspond to a real transfer.
  • Harass Venue Operator staff or other customers through any channel made available through the Service.
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.

We may suspend or revoke access to the Booking App, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

Blocks are per-Venue Operator. A block applied by one Venue Operator on your account does not affect your ability to book at other Venue Operators on MewNam. We deliberately do not propagate block lists across tenants; each Venue Operator decides independently whom to serve.

6. Notifications

The Venue Operator may send booking-related notifications (confirmations, reminders, cancellations, and similar) through their LINE Official Account, the LINE Messaging API, and SMS. You can manage LINE notifications through your LINE account settings. Some notifications, such as booking confirmation, are required for the Service to function.

LINE delivery limits. Notifications sent through the LINE Messaging API depend on LINE Corporation’s service availability and may be delayed or not delivered if LINE experiences an outage or delivery throttling. MewNam manages the LINE message quota on your behalf and will not retry messages beyond LINE’s standard retry behaviour. You are responsible for the accuracy of the LINE identifier and phone number associated with your bookings; we are not liable for a notification reaching the wrong recipient where the underlying mapping is incorrect.

7. The Venue Operator’s role

Each tenant is operated independently by its Venue Operator. The Venue Operator decides the price and rules of every booking, the conditions of access to its facilities, and any house rules. Disputes about the venue, the booked facility, on-site behaviour, or the quality of service should be raised with the Venue Operator. MewNam may help facilitate resolution but is not the venue operator and is not a party to your booking contract with the Venue Operator.

On-premises safety and injury. MewNam is a software platform. We are not present at the venue, do not control facility safety, equipment condition, supervision, lighting, surface conditions, first-aid availability, or any other aspect of the physical site, and are not liable for any personal injury, illness, property damage, theft, or other loss suffered before, during, or after your visit. Premises liability and any required public-liability or accident insurance rest with the Venue Operator under applicable Thai law. You should follow the Venue Operator’s safety instructions and consider your own personal accident cover for sport activity.

8. Intellectual property

MewNam and our licensors own all rights in the Booking App and supporting Service, including its software, design, brand, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Booking App for the personal purpose of making bookings.

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as your name, phone number, and uploaded slip images). You grant MewNam and the Venue Operator a limited licence to host, transmit, and process that content as necessary to operate the Service and fulfil your bookings.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of malware, and we are not responsible for outages of LINE, SMS, payment, or storage providers, or for incorrect information published by Venue Operators.

MewNam’s aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid to the Venue Operator for the booking that gave rise to the claim. Neither MewNam nor any sub-processor is liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory provisions of Thai law, including the Consumer Protection Act and the PDPA.

10. Privacy

Our collection, use, and sharing of your personal data are described in the Booking App Privacy Policy at Booking App Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully before using the Booking App.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. We will give you reasonable notice of material changes through the Booking App or through your registered LINE Official Account, and you can stop using the Service if you do not agree to the change.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. The courts of Bangkok, Thailand have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes between you and MewNam.
